Why add card attributes?

Adding card attributes helps companies stay organized, offering a more streamlined way to manage cards, track spending, and simplify financial reporting.

By assigning unique attributes to each card, you can:

Available card attributes: Labels, colors, and projects

Here are the available attributes you can assign to your cards to streamline your financial tracking:

Card label

Assign a custom label to each card to indicate its specific use. For example:

  • “Facebook Ads Campaign”

  • “SEO Tools Subscription”

  • “Product X Marketing”

This helps you quickly identify the purpose of the card and track expenses more efficiently.

Card color

Choose from 6 different colors to visually distinguish between cards. Use different colors for different projects or marketing channels, making it easier to spot expenses at a glance.

Project

Associate each card with a specific project, such as a particular campaign or project, to better track and report costs.

How to add card attributes

Adding card attributes is easy and can be done during the card issuance process or anytime afterward by navigating to the card.

Changing card attributes of existing cards

  1. Navigate to the Cards page

  2. Select a card and go to the card settings

  3. Click Change label & color or Edit project assignment

  4. Edit the card attributes and click confirm

By setting up card attributes at issuance or later in the settings, you ensure that each card is customized and aligned with your team's organizational and financial needs.
