Regarding the handling of cost centres and cost units in the export from Pliant to Datev (CSV, XML or via API with "Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0"), there are two options available on the DATEV export settings page, which you can set by clicking on the pencil icon and selecting a value in the selection box.
Cost Centre (Team) | If this option is activated, cost centres (if available) are always written to the KOST1 field and cost units (if available) are always written to the KOST2 field when exporting transactions to Datev. |
Cost Unit (Project) | If this option is activated, cost units (if available) are always written to the KOST1 field and cost centres (if available) are always written to the KOST2 field when exporting transactions to Datev. |
The assignment of the respective other field is additionally displayed.

KOST1 = Cost Centre (Team)
KOST2 = Cost Unit (Project)
